Central Steel & Wire Company is a full-line ferrous and nonferrous metal distribution service center founded in 1909, with plants located in Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, and Greensboro. Our coil processing plant "Central Coil Processing" is located in Portage, Indiana.

We have an inventory of 15,000 items (Over 200,000 tons) in facilities covering two million square feet.

On staff are approximately 1,100 employees, including an experienced team of product specialists and professionals in metallurgy, engineering, and trucking.
