We work to ensure materials used throughout the manufacturing process, as well as the end products we provide to customers, meet the following compliance certifications, as required:
- ITAR. In our commitment to serving the defense industry, we are registered with the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) and comply with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- REACH. A regulation of the European Union adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals.
- RoHS. Ryerson's catalog includes products that are fully compliant with EU Directives on Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS).
